Ironically enough for being quite a sedentary couple lately, John and I spent our 1 year anniversary doing a 12-mile hike in Glacier National Park. We survived, but were totally spent afterward. Here are some pictures from our trip:

We took a shuttle up to Logan Pass, then hiked this trail down to the 'Loop' on 'Going to the Sun Road.' You hike along the Garden Wall, which is a sub-alpine, steep area - beautiful views above and below. Lots of wildlife.

At the Chalet, 7 miles in. There were a bunch of Chalets built when the area first became a park. You could hike or go by horseback to stay here. You still can, with no electricity or anything - about $300/night.
